City Outdoor Rinks Ready For The Holidays

The thaw is over for the time being at least and the ice has never looked better on one of the city's most popular winter attractions - the Baker Park outdoor rink.

City Public Works Superintendent Joe McGowan, says the thaw last week caused a hiccup in the rink's operations, but with a return to colder weather the rink is in fine shape again.

"Everything is fine and dandy and looking good. The ice is hard and generally flat and things are working like they should be."
