Growth Management StrategyThe Growth Management Strategy (GMS) is an evaluation of the state of our existing infrastructure and what needs to be done to ensure it is in reasonable operating condition. The strategy will also provide guidance on what steps the City should take as demand for these services increases over time. The Growth Management Strategy is like a detailed instruction manual on how to handle our water, sewer and road infrastructure in a fiscally responsible manner. This is a technical document detailing what to do to fix our existing systems and what to do as and when demand for these services grows. Through this strategy qualified professional engineers have completed a detailed analysis of the condition of the City’s existing water, sewer and road systems. Based on this analysis, the consultants have recommended actions necessary to bring our systems up to a reasonable overall standard and present the best industry practices to manage systems replacement over the foreseeable future. Finally, the qualified engineering team also provides detailed information on how all the above is calculated (methodology, assumptions, calculations, spreadsheets, etc.) DCC Model 31 Excel Sheet
