All Flights @ Canadian Rockies International Airport Cancelled Friday Due To Nearby Fire

Cranbrook, BC (September 1, 2017) – Due to a wildfire burning near the Canadian Rockies International Airport Friday afternoon, all scheduled flights to and from the airport are cancelled until midnight tonight (Friday September 1st).  Fire suppression aircraft will be the only ones allowed to use the airport for their activities.

The Canadian Rockies International Airport and the City of Cranbrook will continue to monitor this situation closely and will share any updated information as soon as possible.

Those passengers set to travel on any flights to and from the airport are encouraged to contact your airline directly to reschedule your flights or to get any additional information. 

If you are scheduled to fly at any time during the long weekend, it is strongly advised you contact your airline directly to get the latest information on your flight status before you travel to the airport.
