Minor Traffic Delays Expected Wednesday for Road Patching On Victoria Avenue

Cranbrook, BC (May 2, 2017) -- Road patching work at the intersection of Victoria Avenue and 2nd Street North in Cranbrook will reduce traffic to single lane on Wednesday May 3rd.

Work is expected to happen from 7am to 4pm.  Drivers travelling through the area Wednesday can expect some minor traffic delays as the roadway will be narrowed to single lane.

The area will be well signed and flag personnel will be on site directing traffic.   Please respect and obey all signage and direction of the flaggers.  It is so important for drivers to be aware of their presence.  Please slow down to give these personnel the space they need to be safe.

The City of Cranbrook is committed not only to the safety of the public but to the safety of our staff.  Thank you for remembering their safety as well as your own as you drive through construction zones.

The City appreciates the patience and understanding of the public as this road work is completed.
