Wesly brings nearly two decades of experience in both civic leadership and agricultural management. Since 2005, he has been actively engaged in civic politics, serving on multiple boards and collaborating with various community organizations.
Outside of Council, his current role is Chief Financial Officer and Head of Operations at one of British Columbia's premier cherry producers, he oversees a 200-acre operation and manages a seasonal workforce of up to 220 employees. His responsibilities encompass both strategic financial planning and day-to-day operational management of this significant agricultural enterprise.
His dual expertise in civic governance and large-scale agricultural operations positions him as a key figure in British Columbia's agricultural sector and community development.
