Invitation To Tender - Cranbrook Childcare Facility (C-001 to C-017)

The project consists of a new single storey daycare building on a municipally serviced site near Western Financial Place. The development is intended to provide purpose-built childcare spaces supporting infant, toddler, and preschool programming within a safe, functional and welcoming environment. The building will be a pre-fabricated wood framed structure, utilizing CLT wall panels, roof trusses, exterior metal siding, and complete exterior play spaces, and site furnishings including stand along sheds.

Closing Date: Thursday June 11, 2026, at 2:00 pm PST.
 
All documents in regard to this Public Tender are available to download from the Construction Manager. To gain access to the Tender documents, please contact Sam van Gogh via email at [email protected] indicating the Contract that you will be submitting on, and they will respond with access instructions.

All Trades must review all specifications. Sections include the Instructions to Bidders, General Conditions and Contract Scope of Work for this Contract Tender Package and provides the blank Tender Form that must be completed when submitting your bid. By acquiring the Tender documents via our Sharepoint site, it is considered that all plans and specifications have been downloaded in their entirety. The requirements of the Instructions to Bidders, General Conditions, Supplementary General Conditions, all Divisions of the specifications, drawings, addenda, revisions, shall govern the entire work. They form a part of the Contract, Section and Division and shall be consulted in detail for instructions pertaining to the work.

There will be a mandatory site meeting on May 29, 2026, for the following contracts for the noted times; all bidders must confirm attendance no later than May 27th including contact name and phone number.

** Addendum 1 - (Added June 8, 2026): An Addendum to the tender package for the tender of Contracts C-001 to C-017 for the Cranbrook Childcare Facility Project has been issued.

The amendments to drawings and specifications shall be incorporated into and form part of the tender package the same as if they had been written into the original.  All documents in regard to this Addendum are available via download from the Construction Manager.
