As per the City of Cranbrook Board of Variance Bylaw, No. 3653, the Board will meet on the second Tuesday of February, April, June, August, October and December of each year.

Due to new changes in the provincial ministerial order around how the City can conduct public meetings, the City rescheduled this meeting from Tuesday December 8 to Tuesday December 15, to allow for proper notification of all members and the public around how to attend the meeting virtually.  This meeting will begin at 2pm.

Applications must be received by 12:00pm at least 20 calendar days prior to the scheduled meeting date. Information packages for board members, letters to applicant, letters to applicant’s neighbours and meeting agenda must be sent out a minimum of 10 working days prior to the scheduled meeting dates, with decisions being mailed out within 7 days of the scheduled meeting date.

If the application is allowed by the Board, a permit must be obtained within 180 days of the date of the decision of the Board.
