Cranbrook, BC (November 28, 2024) – A new ticket-purchasing system – ‘Select Your Tickets’ is coming to Western Financial Place and will take effect on Monday, December 2, 2024.
The new online ticket system to be used only for City of Cranbrook events, is designed to enhance the user experience and streamline ticket purchases. It will also offer improved functionality, easier navigation, and a more user-friendly interface, allowing people to purchase tickets quickly and conveniently.
‘Select Your Tickets’ is a ticketing company that was created in 2004 by RG Properties Ltd to provide creative solutions for its arenas in Kelowna and Victoria, BC with great success.
As the new software will be implemented on Friday, November 29, 2024, there will be a transition period where the existing ‘Showpass’ ticketing software will continue to be used for events that were announced prior to this switch to ‘Select Your Tickets’. Any new events announced after November 29, 2024, tickets must be purchased through ‘Select Your Tickets’. To purchase tickets for any of our events, please visit tickets.cranbrook.ca, where you will be prompted to either of the ticket purchasing software options.
If you purchased tickets for Rock the Kootenays 2025, your tickets will be transferred to the new ticketing software and you will receive an email with your new tickets once the transfer has been completed. If you purchased tickets for the BTO concert, your tickets would remain in the Showpass ticketing software.
We apologize for any inconvenience or confusion this may cause in the short term as we move to the new ticket software.
An important reminder, that when you are purchasing concert tickets online to any of our shows at Western Financial Place now and in the future, you are strongly encouraged to purchase directly from the City of Cranbrook at tickets.cranbrook.ca, and not third-party resellers or websites. If any tickets are not purchased directly from us, we are not able to help them with the legitimacy of the purchase/ tickets, refunds, extra fees paid, transfer or re-print of lost tickets.
