The City of Cranbrook offers various parks and facilities as rentable spaces for events of all sizes. Reserving the space for your event is required to ensure it is available for your group and a facility booking contract is in place. There are 2 options to choose from in order to register your event with the City.

Park or Facility Booking Application – Generally no cost. This is most commonly used.
The Park or Facility Booking Application is used for:
- Small private functions, such as family gatherings, picnics, birthday parties
- The exclusive use of a sidewalk or street is not required
- The risk level of the event is minimal or low

If you require power there is a nominal fee to cover the use of electrical services (when available).
Special Event – Permit and Fees are Required. Do not fill out this application unless you do not meet the criteria above.
The Special Event and Park Booking Application is used for:
- Events that have a medium to large attendance, such as organized sports, farmers market, parades, festivals
- Occupancy of sidewalks or streets IS required
- The risk level of the event is low to high
- Additional services are requested, such as power, food and alcohol sales, music, sound, tents
