The Finance department aims to bring financial vision and accountability as well as efficiency and effectiveness to the programs and departments of the City of Cranbrook. It is responsible for providing advice and guidance to Council and city management; preparing financial plans & budgets; and providing financial reporting to staff and the public.
The Finance department is also responsible for billing for City run utilities, payroll, tax collection, loss control and insurance, purchasing and inventory control, bus passes and reporting regarding the revenues and expenses of Western Financial Place.
