Cranbrook, BC (April 24, 2025) – Four firefighters were quick to respond to a reported tent fire on the edge of City limits on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.
One fire engine and one bush truck arrived on scene just after 7:00 p.m. before the firefighters managed to extinguish the tent fire and prevent any further spread of the flame. The fire was contained to the localized area on private land adjacent of Moir Park, preventing any further damage or wildfire.
“There were no injuries as a result of the fire,” says Scott Driver, Fire Chief of the Cranbrook Fire Department. “Due to the extent of the localized damage, the cause and origin of the fire was unable to be determined.”
