Cranbook
Cranbrook, BC (October 12, 2023) -- The Rotary Club of Cranbrook, JCI Kootenay and McElhanney marked the official opening of Phase 2 of the Moir Park Trail project with a ribbon cutting on Wednesday afternoon (October 12, 2023).
Acting Mayor Ron Popoff (third from right), along with Kootenay East MLA Tom Shypitka (left) joined in the festivities with (from left to right) Ryan Gibbard, McElhanney; Ryan D’Etcheverrey, BA Blacktop; Jonah Gowns, President JCI Kootenay; Heidi Romich, President Rotary Club of Cranbrook; Justin Roberts, EMCO and Joe McGowan, Project Operations Cranbrook Rotary Club.
Many thanks to the numerous community volunteers, businesses and organizations that donated time, equipment and funding to make this wonderful project a reality, which improves the accessibility of Moir Park for all to enjoy.
