Cranbrook, BC (July 30, 2024) – Residents living in the south end of the City of Cranbrook may experience discoloured water temporarily on Wednesday, July 31 through into Thursday, August 1, 2024, as Public Works completes repairs to a water supply well at Confederation Park.
The area to be impacted is from Confederation Park at Elizabeth Lake through to 14th Avenue South, from 4th Street South to 15th Street South, once repairs are made and testing on the well gets underway.
This discoloured water is not considered a health concern. Those who may get discoloured water are asked to run your cold water tap until the water runs clear.
We appreciate your patience and understanding while this repair work and well testing is completed.
