Cranbrook, BC (March 2, 2023) – Beginning at 9am on Monday, March 6, 2023, registration for our 2023 spring swimming lessons at the Aquatic Centre opens.

The Aquatic Centre at Western Financial Place is now offering online registration, in addition to in-person and phone sign ups.  Parents can book online, reach staff by phone, or attend in person to register for a lesson set or be placed on the waitlist.  Due to the volume of phone calls we get for lessons, we will not be accepting or checking voicemails on Monday.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to follow the tips below when opting for online registration:

•    Ensure you are using Chrome as your browser or courses may not show up properly. 
•    It is faster to book online vs. phone as the phone que will contain callers registering for all courses (not just swimming lessons). 
•    For existing customers, it is faster to login to your account first (prior to 9 am), then select your course(s).  For new customers, create an account prior to registration day. 
•    Have course page open. 
•    Refresh your browser right at 9 am.
•    Select courses for all family members first, then pay for all courses at once. 
•    Keep Credit Card info on file so that you don’t have to take the time to enter it each time. Information is completely secure. 
•    Join the waitlist. If we have a cancellation, then we will call those on the waitlist in the order that they joined.

To meet public demand, the Aquatic Center continues to train and recruit new instructors to provide all swim lessons. However, we cannot guarantee that you will be secured a spot. 

Reminders: 
•    Swimming lesson participants can only be registered for 1 set of lessons at a time. You may register your child for the next set of lessons only after the completion of the lesson set, they are currently registered in. 
•    Your child may be withdrawn from a swimming program if registered in more than 1 lesson set before completion of the current lesson.
•    If your child was registered in the wrong lesson, they will be withdrawn and possibly scheduled for an assessment. Subsequently, they will be transferred to the correct lesson, which may result in waitlisted due to limited spots.
