In the event that a job site has been exposed to COVID-19 then, I‘m confident that we will be able to lean on technology to allow video’s, face-time, skype, pictures, etc. to be an additional inspection tool to assist us through this unprecedented event. Nonetheless, you must still contact our office to arrange for the inspections noted on your building permit and we will discuss our procedures at that time so, please do not proceed without receiving approval to do so by the Building Inspector.

There is now an emphasis on digital submission of plans, drawings, permits, documentation, inspection requests, etc. but we don’t expect that there will be concerns in this transition as we have all predominately shifted towards this capacity in the recent past. We will continue to receive mail and courier deliveries.  You may also use our drop box at City Hall (40-10TH AVE S) located near the front entry. Special deliveries can be made upon calling our office to make the necessary arrangements.

Our local contractors have established a very high standard in our region and we have a tremendous level of confidence in their abilities especially during this difficult time so, we have no reason to expect any less in the days ahead.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. Please do not hesitate to contact our office if you have any questions, comments or concerns.
