Project "Make Your Mark"
“Make Your Mark” is a project aimed at encouraging the community to engrave their valuables, making them less appealing to thieves and easier for police to return stolen items to their rightful owners.
Engravers are available to use at Cranbrook detachment at no cost. Drop by the Cranbrook RCMP Detachment (31 - 11th Ave S) between 8am – 4pm Monday to Friday (excluding holidays), or contact Cranbrook RCMP at 250-489-3471.
Project 529
Project 529 encourages bike owners to register their bike & contact info in the 529 online database. Cranbrook detachment may provide a 529 tamper-proof decal (if available) which can be placed on the bike, allowing Cranbrook RCMP to identify the rightful owner should the bike become lost or stolen. Bike owners can also use the database to put out alerts to the 529 community if their bike is stolen.
Cranbrook detachment thanks the Province of BC for funding the Project 529 membership.
For more information or to request a Project 529 decal, contact Cranbrook detachment at 250-489-3471 between 8am – 4pm Monday to Friday.
