We are excited to kick off our annual water conservation program with the return of Water Ambassador Tanya Nadeau for her third season!
“I am proud to return to my home community this summer, connecting with residents and supporting public awareness on how we can work together to use our water wisely,” says Tanya Nadeau, 2026 Water Ambassador. “Clean water is one of Canada’s most precious resources, and I hope to contribute to its protection and longevity for future generations. I look forward to serving the Cranbrook community for another season.”
Since 2010, the Water Ambassador program has been a cornerstone of Cranbrook’s water conservation efforts. Each summer, the ambassador works directly with the community to raise awareness about outdoor water use and practical ways to conserve—without sacrificing healthy lawns and gardens.
After the water-related challenges experienced over the past several summers, the importance of using water wisely remains as clear as ever. Small actions, taken consistently, can make a big difference in ensuring Cranbrook has enough clean water for today and for future generations. By being an H2O Hero, residents can help protect our water supply while keeping our community resilient.
