Cranbrook, BC (July 5, 2021) -- To speed up the install and minimize disruption, the City of Cranbrook will be closing a portion of 22nd St. North between the Chamber of Commerce and the Cranbrook Transfer Station from 5:30pm Tuesday July 6 until 7am on Wednesday July 7, 2021.
Our contractors working on the influent trunk main project, which is impacting our sani-dump location, must excavate across the roadway to install the new influent main. Completing this work overnight will minimize disruption to nearby businesses and traffic flow.
Drivers needing to access Home Depot, Walmart, or the Cranbrook Transfer Station, please use alternate routes around the construction work. Please follow and obey the signage in place around the site.
We appreciate the patience and understanding of the public and the nearby businesses impacted by the project.
