Cranbrook, BC (March 30, 2021) -- With Monday’s provincial health order creating a three-week long circuit breaker period in the fight against the spread of COVID-19, it is important for our residents and business owners to know that the City of Cranbrook continues to provide all of it regular services as usual with one exception.
All aquafit classes at the Aquatic Centre at Western Financial Place are on pause. This pause will be in place until April 19 at the earliest. Self-led exercise time will be available in place of the classes. No other activities at Western Financial Place, the Cranbrook Public Library or services provided by City of Cranbrook offices are affected by this new order.
We will continue to monitor updates from the Province going forward and adjust any of our services, as required.
Reception areas at City Hall, Building and Bylaw Services, Public Works are all open to the public. The Cranbrook Fire Hall is closed to public access. Our customers are strongly encouraged to continue to access City information and services by phone or by email wherever possible. However, those who require a visit to any of our office facilities must understand and obey all the proper COVID related public health guidelines and wear approved masks.
