Cranbrook, BC (November 28, 2023) -- Garbage collectors with the City of Cranbrook are facing some challenges around garbage bins being left out behind curbside recycling carts on collection days.
This is specifically for our residents who do not have alley access and must leave their garbage on the curb for collection.
Residents are reminded to please place both their garbage bins and curbside recycling carts on the curb and ensure that there is at least 1 metre (3 feet) between the bins to ensure that all your material is collected safely and isn’t accidentally knocked over or spilled in your driveway or yard.
