Cranbrook, BC (May 26, 2020) – Our annual water main flushing operations will be moving to neighbourhood around Western Financial Place and the East Kootenay Regional Hospital starting Wednesday May 27, with work expected to occur over several days.
Some customers may experience discolouration in the water for a short period while this flushing work is done. If you do have discolouration, please run your cold water tap until the water runs clear. This discolouration is not a public health concern.
The annual flushing program is done each year to ensure water mains are clear of sediment to provide the best water quality possible to your home and business. The City will provide updates regularly, so you know where the flushing program is moving to next.
