Cranbrook, BC (April 20, 2020) – Water utility customers can expect to experience some minor water discolouration periodically over the next few months, as the city continues its annual water main flushing program.
Operations are to shift to the McLeary Park zone Monday afternoon, which includes the Alliance Church, Steeples School area west of 24th Avenue North.
Some customers may experience discolouration in the water for a short period while this flushing work is done. If you do have discolouration, please run your cold water tap until the water runs clear. This discolouration is not a public health concern.
The City of Cranbrook appreciates the patience and understanding of our residents and businesses as this important flushing program unfolds.
