Cranbook
Cranbrook, BC (September 22, 2023) – Residents living in the north area of the City of Cranbrook will be without water for much of the night Friday, September 22, 2023, as Public Works deals with a significant water leak which developed from the north trunk main late in the afternoon.
Residents in and around Park Royal, Panorama Heights, Shadow Mountain, and the City’s industrial area will be without water, while the Wildstone area may have water, but will have a noticeable drop in water pressure due to this. No other areas of Cranbrook should be impacted by this water outage.
Public Works are on scene now and will restore water service to all our customers as soon as possible.
Once water service has been restored, residents and properties across the City will likely have discoloured water, as the trunk main is recharged after being repaired. If you find that you have discoloured water, please run your cold-water tap until the water runs clear.
We will provide updates throughout the evening should the situation change.
