Cranbrook, BC (April 28, 2021) – Public Works is moving watermain flushing operations to the area around Kootenay Orchards School Wednesday morning.
Residents living in the area from Staples Crescent to 22nd Avenue South between 12th Street South and 13A Street South can expect some discoloured water over the next few days as work is completed. This is not a health concern. Please run your cold water taps until the water runs clear. Work is expected to be finished by the end of this week.
The overall flushing program generally runs from April through until the end of June annually.
