Cranbrook, BC (April 12, 2021) – Public Works is moving watermain flushing operations to the area around Highlands School on Tuesday April 13, 2021.
Residents living in the area from 9th Street South to Edgewood Drive, between 27th Avenue South and 34th Avenue South will be affected over the next week as the flushing is completed.
The flushing will likely cause water in those areas to become discoloured. This is not a health concern. Please run your cold water taps until the water runs clear. Work is expected to be finished by the end of this week.
The overall flushing program generally runs from April through until the end of June annually.
