Cranbook
What a vote for me brings to you;
- I am a locally grown and educated candidate who has lived in nine communities while accumulating outside knowledge and perspective. I will bring that knowledge forward as it applies to OUR city.
- I understand and and have lived “public service” through my career in the public and private sector. That is who I have been all my life.
- I am approaching my appointment to council as your “full-time city councillor”.
- I will act in the best interests of the citizens of Cranbrook and will conduct my responsibilities without favour. My 25 years in the RCMP set that course.
- I will do my research and base my decisions on ALL accumulated information.
- Strive to make decisions that will limit “red tape” in all aspects of city governance.
- Continue to promote Cranbrook as a city that is “open for business.” Market our area amenities as they pertain to work/life balance.
- Work in conjunction with surrounding local governments to fully explore we are a city with “Mountains of Opportunity”.
- Continuance of our city infrastructure upgrades as they are vital to our growth.
- Promote and explore options regarding available and affordable housing.
- Strive to improve communication internally and externally as it pertains to the administration of OUR city.
- Insure your tax dollars are being spent wisely and tax increases if necessary, are just and reasonable.
- I have demonstrated to the electorate I am the hardest working candidate and will bring that work ethic to city council.
