As the runner-up in the past election, I am just as committed to Cranbrook today as I was five months ago. With my continued council meeting attendance and devotion as an active member of JCI Kootenay, I believe that I have the ability and commitment to create positive progression and have a sustainable impact for the citizens of Cranbrook. I believe that we need to seek solutions to the city’s greatest challenges that benefit our entire community as a whole. I believe a youthful approach is relevant to how our daily lives are affected by change and what is needed to create real community development that will benefit the future generations.
My deep Cranbrook roots date back to the late 1920s when my great grandfather chose Cranbrook and established a new home for his young family. Now my wife and I are raising our two young children in Cranbrook. My family story has led me to see ‘the big picture’ and inspired me to step forward and run for city council so that I may have an opportunity to work toward a strong, sustainable city now and in the future. Whether we are talking about recreation, arts and culture, business or citizens of all ages, we are all this city’s stakeholders and deserve to have a strong voice on council. I will work diligently to be your voice. I will bring to the citizens of Cranbrook the same principles I apply to my customers: trust, transparency and customer satisfaction.
