Cranbrook, BC (July 28, 2021) -- The City of Cranbrook will be closing a portion of 22nd Street North between the Chamber of Commerce and the Cranbrook Transfer Station on Sunday August 1st from 7am to 7pm.
Our contractors will continue to be working on the influent trunk main project, which will also require the closure of the sani-dump location for the day on Sunday August 1.
Drivers needing to access Home Depot, Walmart, or the Cranbrook Transfer Station, please use alternate routes around the construction work. Please follow and obey the signage in place around the site.
Construction work will continue through Monday August 2 and Tuesday August 3; however, the sani-dump will be open and available for public use by end of day Sunday. 22nd St. North will be open to traffic starting Monday but will be reduced to single lane alternating for the remainder of next week.
We appreciate the patience and understanding of the public and the nearby businesses impacted by the project.
