Cranbrook, BC (July 6, 2022) -- Talon Helicopters will be performing low level flying with LaSen Inc. for FortisBC across the Regional District of East Kootenay, including the City of Cranbrook and Kimberley between Monday July 11, 2022 and Wednesday August 31, 2022 during daylight hours, per Special Authorization issued by Transport Canada.
The work is FortisBC’s annual inspection of its high-pressure natural gas lines. The aim is to detect small issues so they can prevent larger problems and make sure its system continues to operate safely.
The flight time over a single area will be minimal. There will be no activity on the ground related to this flight.
