Cranbrook, BC (July 26, 2019) -- Water service will be shutdown to residents and businesses from 4th St. N to 3rd St. N today for an emergency water service repair.
Contractors working on the Kootenay Street sewer trunk main project uncovered an unrestrained water main. For safety, the City has shutdown water services in that area. It is expected that the water service will be restored by the end of the day today (Friday July 26).
Once water service is restored, water customers may experience some dirty water. Please run your cold water tap until the water runs clear.
The City of Cranbrook appreciates the understanding of those residents and businesses impacted by this shutdown and will restore water services as quickly as possible.
