I’ve spent more than 30 years turning ideas into things that work - building businesses, creating jobs, developing property and, yes, once turning pinecones into a business that employed 45 people and sold products around the world.
Turns out pinecones taught me a lot about how I approach problems.
HEAD: Do the homework.
Good decisions start with understanding the problem, asking better questions and connecting the dots. I bring business experience, public policy work and a Master’s degree in neuroscience - along with a lifelong habit of wanting to know why something works before throwing money at it.
HANDS: Make it happen.
Ideas are easy. Execution is harder. I’ve spent my career rolling up my sleeves, building partnerships and turning plans into results. On Council, I’ll bring that same focus to economic development, housing, safety, and making the most of every tax dollar.
HEART: Remember why.
Cranbrook isn’t a spreadsheet. It’s home. I raised my family here and seven of my grandchildren are growing up here now.
I want a Cranbrook that is safe and welcoming, where businesses can thrive, people can find a home, families can build a life, and where we build with the next generation in mind.
